REMOVING START-UP FILES AND ISSUES OF PROGRAMS HANGING OR NOT RESPONDING.

If windows appears to load successfully but stops responding when the windows desktop is displayed, you could have a problem with one of the programs launching automatically from the startup folder.

Often when this occurs, you can press CTR + ALT + DEL to help you determine the runway piece of software. Pressing CTR + ALT + DEL gives you the Windows Task Manager, which shows you the programs that are running on your computer, this also applies to situations where a particular program keeps hanging the computer for a very long time. Programs that are not functioning properly will have a message next to them such as: “Program not Responding”.  You can now select end task to stop those programs that are hanging your computer.

IMPORTANCE OF Ctrl+Alt+Del
The famous three-finger salute has many uses in Windows operating system. Use it to unlock a system at startup so you can log on. Press it later, and you can lock the computer before taking a break, log off, shut it down, change your password, or to view the Task Manager to check or shut down processes that are hanging or having problems.
